October is definitely Nia’s month. She comes off a week of Birthday celebrations and heads straight into Halloween fun.
The festivities began on Thursday with a Halloween parade and concert at her preschool. Friday she got to trick-or-treat at a middle school with her other preschool and then Saturday she went out for traditional trick-or-treating.
Nia’s original plan was to be Sofia the 1st (costume purchased and everything) but at the last minute she decided to be a pirate. Thankfully we had pirate stuff on hand, so we were good to go!
On Saturday night we went out trick-or-treating with our dear friends from Manila, the Lindgrens. Nia loves being with them and they had a perfect neighborhood for walking around (as opposed to our condo).
Last year we needed to coach her a lot on candy selection (she favored smarties, dum dums and tootsie rolls) but this year she got more of Mommy and Daddy’s favorites, namely CHOCOLATE. Â :)Â She was so into it this year, made for a great night for all of us. Hope your Halloween was equally fabulous!
Cute as a bug! She totally rocked the pre-K pirate look!
