We may just be the luckiest people in the word today- we managed to get assigned our number 1 pick: Manila. The city, not the envelope…. :) I’ll do some research to see if there’s any link there. This magnificent destination is located in Southeast Asia, right by Malaysia (which you’re now familiar with from our November trip). There is an amazing mix of cultures here and we feel so fortunate to be going to such a wonderful first post. It doesn’t look like things are going to be slowing down anytime soon. We are scheduled to leave in June after Nick finishes a month of Consular training and a month of learning Tagalog, the local language (in addition to English). We just picked up guide books from the bookstore, so we’re off to learn a little more about our new land. Thanks for all your good vibes over the last few days- I know it paid off!
