Greetings all – sorry for the delayed absence! I am back to blogging! In my defense, I have been quite busy though! After a delightful week in Mexico with the fam, I spent the last few days driving cross-country from St. Paul to DC. I did 6 hours each day, covering 1200 miles total. And best of all – I DID IT SOLO! Everyone was a wee bit nervous (Nick!) but I was determined to make it. My car was stuffed to the gils with the remainder of our stuff, which made it a bit tricky to see….but I managed to stay safe and pass the time while downing Diet Cokes and belting out my favorite tunes at the top of my lungs. Not sure if I love the turnpikes though… $40 in tolls for that trip??? Thank goodness MN isn’t into turnpikes! Stay toll-free MN – it’s yet another reason that I will forever ADORE you, my beloved home state!
