OH MY GOSH! I’ve been waiting for this day ever since we found out that we got in. For those of you not familiar with foreign service life, Bid List Day is the day we receive a list of the dozens of posts that are open for us to select from. We have 4 days to research all the posts and rank each High, Medium or Low and come up with a rationale behind our bidding. You can’t just say, “I don’t like South America.” The posts can be from any continent and we find out where we’re going at a ceremony on February 13th. WHOA. So if I’m not blogging for a few days, just know that I’m busy doing important research about my upcoming life! As if that wasn’t enough, today and tomorrow are spouse orientation – where I learn to be a spouse! Just kidding – we learn all about the resources that are available to families. My head is spinning from the information overload. Thank goodness I love research! Stay tuned for more updates…
